Euzkadi

Tapas are awesome because you can order 9 different dishes. You probably shouldn't order 9 dishes if you don't want your bill to end up on the ridiculous side, but who am I to give that kind of advice.

Euzkadi is a basque tapas place. It's dark, cozy, and has good music. They were playing a cd called Cover the World from putumayo. It's about 10 pop songs done in different languages. My favorites were Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side and Phil Collin's In the Air Tonight.

So we ordered 9 dishes that i'm just going to list:

Sauteed mushrooms w/ almonds and cherry wine
Sauteed spinach w/ raisins, chic peas and pine nuts
Crispy fried cubed spicy potatoes, w/ allioli
Sauteed sliced chorizo w/ red onions and port wine
Choriso laced with chilled chocolate
Grilled shrimp stuffed w/ rosemary goat chees, wrapped in serrano ham
Red peppers stuffed with spicy salmon tartar
Serrano ham wrapped ravioli, stuffed w/ truffle infused cauliflower
And a salad of some sort.

I've just realized that i forgot to our the roasted duck meatballs, but i guess that's okay as there were already 9 dishes.

My favorites were the choriso in port wine, the spinach, the mushrooms, spicy potatoes, and ham wrapped ravioli.

The other dishes weren't bad by any means but I probably wouldn't order them again.
