Naruto Ramen

Went up to the Upper East Side to watch football and after that become boring decided to grab some food. We saw this place on our way to the bar but weren't sure of what we wanted so we decided to explore the neighborhood and if we didn't happen upon anything we liked we would go with ramen.

We briefly did some exploring, walked up a unexplainable hill, and found ourselves in front of Naruto. It couldn't have worked out better if we had planned it.

Naruto is a lot of fun. It only has bar seating and the bar looks onto the kitchen. The cooks are merely 12 inches in front of you making your food. There were different people for each station and they all did a pretty good job of working around each other. It's definitely worth a trip here to just to watch them make your food.

We ordered gyoza and a 1/2 order of fried rice. The gyoza were good and the fried rice was fantastic. For my entree I had Pork cutlet over egg and rice. The flavor was good but the pork was dry. My friends had ramen dishes that had a much tastier pork so apparently the cutlet was a bad choice.
