Holy awesome dessert.
Chikalicious is a small dessert bar that specializes in deliciousness.
For $12 you can get the pre fixe which consists of 3 courses that update daily. The first and third are preset each evening and the middle course is chosen by the customer. The first course is called Amuse and the third is called petit fours (although it's only three things). Actually, petit fours, is their plural form of petit four which means small cake and the last course consists of three small cakes, so it's actually quite fitting. The amuse was a graham cracker ice cream in an apple flavored sauce and was very good. The petit fours were a small cookie, a miniature chocolate tart and a coconut encrusted marshmallow.
I chose the brown sugar panna cotta with a granny smith apple sorbet for my middle course. My friends chose the fromage blanc cheese cake and the warm chocolate tart. I thought mine was the best but that likely depends on how much you crave chocolate, as the tart was quite good too. The cheesecake was good but not as much as the other two.
The presentation of the desserts was first class and kinda funny because a lot of work went in to something that most people wouldn't care if it was served in a pile on a napkin with a plastic fork.
